Culture medium: RPMI 1640 with sodium bicarbonate, 2 mM L-glutamine and 1,0 mM sodium pyruvate, 80%; FBS, 20%

Subculture routine: Split confluent cultures 1:3 to 1: 6 using 0,25% trypsin

or trypsin / EDTA;

Comments: This pancreatic line was derived from ascites of a 62-year old female Caucasian. It was re-established from a tumoral xenograft in a nude mouse which expressed prototypic characteristics of the primary pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

Sterility: Tests for Mycoplasma, bacteria and fungi were negative
