Cell Description:                 Human carcinoma, infiltrating duct carcinoma

 

Culture medium:                      DMEM with 4,5 g/L glucose, sodium bicarbonate, 2 mM L-glutamine and 1,0 mM sodium pyruvate and 10% FBS optional with 10mM HEPES

Subculture routine:                 Remove medium, add fresh 0,25% trypsin, 0,02% EDTA solution and incubate for 10 minutes at37¡C. Add fresh medium, aspirate to dispense the cells and centrifuge at 800 rpm for 3 minutes. Add fresh medium to the pellet and dispense into new flasks.

Karyotype:                              2n = 40

Sterility:                                   Tests for Mycoplasma, bacteria and fungi were negative

Comments:                              In vitro established from the primary infiltrating duct carcinoma of a 40 year-old female; oestrogenrezeptors negative.
