Cell Description: Human embryo rhabdomyosarcoma, muscle

Culture medium: DMEM with 4,5 g/l glucose (hg) with sodium bicarbonate, 2 mM L-glutamine, 1,0 mM sodium pyruvate + 10% FBS

Subculture routine: Add fresh 0,25% trypsin and place at 37°C for 3 to 5 minutes. Add fresh culture medium, aspirate and dispense into new culture vessels.

Split Ratio: 1:2 is recommended

Morphology: spindle cells and large multinucleated cells

VirusSuscept: Poliovirus 1; vesicular stomatitis (Indi); herpes simplex; vaccinia

Reverse Transcriptase: negative

Isoenzymes: G6PD, B

Products: myoglobin; myosin ATPase
