Cell Description: Human ductal carcinoma; mammary gland epithelium primary; breast; ascites (metastasis)

Culture Medium: RPMI 1640 medium with 4.5 g/L glucose, sodium bicarbonate, 2 mM L-glutamine, 1,0 mM sodium pyruvate, 10 mM HEPES and 10% FBS

Subculturing: Remove medium, rinse with fresh 0.25% trypsin solution, remove trypsin and let the culture sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks.

Split Ratio: A ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 is recommended

Fluid Renewal: 2 to 3 times per week

Doubling Time: 80 hrs
