During this course you become acquainted with many basic requirements of cell culture techniques in order to establish and run a cell culture laboratory sucessfully. Generally, the course is focused on the following topics:

• spatial requirements and equipment of a cell culture laboratory
• safety regulations
• composition of media and serum
• methods and techniques in cell culture
• cell biology and physiology
• primary culture
• immunology
• mass culture techniques

A wide range of information is provided and completed by practical aspects of cell culture techniques. The number of participants of each course is restricted to six students. Therefore, we are able to deal with your individual questions and problems. Furthermore, it is possible to bring your own cells and to prepare your own experiments. Please inform us about that in advance.
