Cell Line: AsPC-1
Cell description: Human metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
This pancreatic line was derived from ascites of a 62 -year-old female Caucasian. It was reestablished from a tumoral xenograft in a nude mouse which expressed prototypic characteristics of the primary pancreatic adenocarcinoma.Culture medium: RPMI 1640, 80%; fetal bovine serum, 20%.
Subculture routine: Split confluent cultures 1:3 to 1:6 using 0,25 % trypsin or trypsin/ EDTA
